Guide: How to Convert DVD to AVI with Flash DVD Ripper?

 

 

Flash DVD Ripper is a well-designed dvd ripping program that can convert your favorite DVD movie to MPEG, AVI, VCD, or SVCD images on-the-fly. Flash DVD Ripper supports many important and useful features that include ripping a clip, splitting, zoom mode, resizing, etc. With Flash DVD Ripper, you can open your DVD by selecting the DVD Folder or DVD Files of VOB or IFO. And Flash DVD Ripper supports different Zoom Mode like LetterBox, Pan Scan, Full Screen, etc. And you can resize the output Video's size as you like.

 

 

 

Step1: Launch the Flash DVD Ripper from your computer's deskop or "Start > Programs > DVD Ripper System".

 

 

 

Step2: Click the "Open DVD..." button to open the DVD movie, the screen is shown below. Select the chapters then click "Select".

 

 

Step3: Set the output format to AVI by setting the radio button on the main screen.

 

 

Step4: Click the button "..." from the "Save As" column to set a file name, the screen is shown below:

 

 

Step5: Click the button "Convert..." , the screen is shown below:

Step6: Configure the AVI output parameters, you can set the output format as "PAL" or "NTSC" and set the AVI output Parameters by setting the Codec and Audio, and then select the "Language" and "Subtitle" as you like. If you want to convert all the chapters, set the radio button to "All Chapters" to rip entire file or just splitting by size or time. otherwise, please set it to "Select Chapters", then click the button "Select..." to enter the window for selecting chapters for converting as below, then click "Ok". ( if you feel it is difficult to set, you can also click "Default" to use the default setting to convert.)
