II. How to create PSP Movie with PSP Movie Creator:

Step1: Free download PSP Movie Creator and save it in your computer and run it.

Step2: Launch PSP Movie Creator, click "File". Add one or more video files.

Step3: Different video sources may have different aspect ratios (e.g 4:3, 16:9, 2.35:1). Both 16:9 and 2.35:1 are widescreen, however 2.35:1 is even wider. Some DVD movie with 2.35:1 aspect ratio contains black bars on top and bottom in order to fit into the 16:9 DVD standard. For 2.35:1 extra wide movies, you may choose the following crop modes based on your personal preference.

Step4: Now we come to the conversion settings, the highlighted box shows the default settings for the conversion but you can easily change them to suit the output file you want to create. If any of the settings are meaningless to you leave them as they are for now.

Step5: The highlighted box shows the information by "Ready to record".

Step6: Click "Record it" to start the conversion. During the process of conversion, you can "Pause" and "Stop" it at anytime if you click certain button.

Step7: In PSP Movie Creator, click "PSP Video Transfer" menu. You will see an explorer window that lists video files on both your PC and PSP. The explorer window only lists MP4 (video) files and THM (video thumbnail) files. You can transfer files by drag & drop them to the left/right. You can select a MP4 file and change its video title. The title will be shown on PSP along with the thumbnail picture.
