II. How to Import File Lists from Plain Text Source Files and Rename Multiple Files :
 
RenameFromList -Step1: RenameFromList - Imported file names are automatically filtered for illegal characters and path information. Download the trial software and intstall it.
 
 
 
 

RenameFromList -Step2: The main window is the main interface of Rename From List.Select files that you wish to perform operations on.
 
 
 
 
RenameFromList -Step3: Move all selected (highlighted) new file names up by one position. 
 
 
 
 
RenameFromList -Step4: Move all selected (highlighted) new file names down by one position.
 
 
 
 
 
RenameFromList -Step5: Remove all selected (highlighted) new file names.
 
 
 
 
RenameFromList -Step6: Enter a new file name in the insert box and click on the "Add" button to add the new file name to the current list of new file names. This will add the entry above the last new file name that you selected.
 
 
 
 
RenameFromList -Step7: Enter a new extension in the "Extension" text box. When you apply the extension (by clicking the "Apply" button) all new file name extensions will be changed to the extension that you enter here.
 
 
 
 
RenameFromList -Step8: This will start the renaming operation. All files will be renamed to match the corresponding entries in the "New File Name" column. If you are creating new folders then this will start creating new folders from your folder list.
