II. How to Rip DVD to AVI, VCD, SVCD :

Step1: Free download Acala DVD Ripper and save it in your computer and run it.

Step2: Launch Acala DVD Ripper, click "+". Add one or more video files.

Step3: The box we've highlighted in red is the contents table, it show will show all the files you've chosen to convert.

Step4: Now we come to the conversion settings, the highlighted box shows the default settings for the conversion but you can easily change them to suit the output file you want to create. If any of the settings are meaningless to you leave them as they are for now.

Step5: To set the folder where you want to save your target file, you may select the Output folder by clicking the folder button or enter a path in the "Output Folder" box directly. "C:\ AcalaDVDRipper" is the default destination folder.

Step6: You can preview the video files and you can "Pause" and "Stop" it at anytime if you click certain button.

Step7: Click the button the box we've highlighted in red to start the conversion.
