Guide: How to Set Basic NewsBinPro Options with NewsBin Pro?

II. How to Set Basic NewsBinPro Options :

NewsBin Pro-Step1: To begin, click on "Options" to configure some basic settings.

NewsBin Pro-Step2: You set the "Download Path" to the location on your hard drive to which you wnat to download or save the posts to.

NewsBin Pro-Step3: Set your "Mas Record Age" to amount of days you wish to store headers for. Any records stored after the age deleted to conserve space.

NewsBin Pro-Step4: You can also set the "First Time Records" to the amount of header you wish to download when first loading a group. Its reconmmended to intially download all the headers.

NewsBin Pro-Step5: Next, on the "Swithches" page, place a checkmark next to "Hide Incompletes" if you wish to hide from view any posts/ headers that are not complete. With the additon of recovery files, its a good idea to leave this option uncheched as files can be repaired.

NewsBin Pro-Step6: Next, on the "Filename Options" page, place a checkmark next to "Folder Mode" if you wish to save posts you've downloaded into folders based one the subscribed groups name.

NewsBin Pro-Step7: Finall, click on "OK" to apply your new settings.
