II. How to Split a large AVI ,MPEG, RM, ASF :

Step1: Download the trial software, when this is finished install and run the software, a window like the one shown below should now be on your screen.

Step2: With the program open click "Open" and choose the add one or more video files.

Step3: The panel we've highlighted in this step shows the conversion settings, at present they will be set to the default setting but you can change them to whatever your personal requirements are. If you aren�t familiar with what one of the settings means then leave it as it is for now and you can always tinker with them later.

Step4: Click "Split" button to split the video into clips.

Step5: If you want to at anytime you can "Stop" the process using the corresponding buttons. Other than that you may want to go and do something else as any large conversion jobs can take a while to finish.
