My Space is an on-line social networking site that allows users to share pictures, videos and messages and interests with their friends. It has rapidly grown in popularity and was bought by Rupert Murdoch in 2005 for 580 million. The site enables people to showcase their talents (be it music or video) and has helped several artists increase in popularity by allowing them to communicate with their fans more easily.
