Apprise was written to provide a user guide for Visual Basic projects which is both easy to create and easy for users to navigate. The program is easily integrated into your VB project, and the user guide topics can be written using any text or word processor which can save documents in richtext format (.RTF). Features of the Apprise user guide include the following. The Apprise window icon and title bar are customizable to agree with your project. Displayed messages can be customized to use your program name. You can create intertopic and intratopic hyperlinks. The user guide window can be left open by the user while working in your program.You can easily provide context sensitive help. You can create demo sequences with only the first page visible to the user. The Apprise window remembers its size and screen location as well as the last user guide topic displayed. Apprise INI filenames are unique for each network user. Tooltips in Apprise are controled from your program and toggled on and off by the user with Ctrl^T.
